Mobile ticket app makes it easier for RTD riders to buy day passes

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will launch the new Mobile Tickets app for day passes on Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Now riders who use a day pass will be able to bypass lines and avoid a stop at ticket vending machines by using the new RTD Mobile Tickets app on their Apple or Android mobile device. For bus customers who pay with cash, this is especially convenient since they won’t have to worry about having exact change for their fare each time they ride with a day pass.
